Sri chandananda Buddhist college
Sri Chandananda Buddhist College is located in a scenic site at Asgiriya in Kandy, which is a world heritage site where temple of the tooth relic is housed. This college is a nonprofit making, service oriented new educational institution, inaugurated on the 4th January 2006 at the initiative of Most Ven. Dr. Godagama Mangala thero, to commemorate the services rendered by his teacher the late prelate of the Asgiriya chapter Most Ven. Palipane Sri Chandananda therowho was devoted to promoting the interest of Buddha Sasana and Buddhist education in the country.
Being able to groom a generation of students who will adhere to the five precepts, be self confident, self discipline, courageous and well prepared to take up the challenges of a new era according to the Noble Buddhist Philosophy.
To give an education, that would develop the intellect skills and discipline of students by way of studies and extra curricular activities, in accordance with the teaching of the Buddha, Dhamma.
